Materials
ZFoam ECO is more than just a range of products. It is a commitment to the use of sustainable materials, clearly oriented towards a circular economy.
The ZFoam ECO range of foams is tangible evidence of our effort in pursuit of sustainability and the use of materials that are a clean and environmentally friendly alternative, offering the same benefits as traditional materials.

The ECO range encompasses the following families:
Easily recyclable materials
We start from the basis that all foams are recyclable, a notable difference compared to other materials. Additionally, we have materials that can be recycled simply and economically. Such is the case of the ECO S33: this non-cross-linked foam can easily be fully recycled after its useful life.
Recycled materials
We regularly use materials with some 30-40% recycled content, a percentage that is very much on the rise. An example of this is ECO RCL foam, composed of 65% recycled material. What is more, there are now projects aiming to use 100% recycled materials.
Bio-materials
This family consists of LJ BIO, BIO PT and BIO PN foams. These foams come from 100% renewable raw materials obtained from sugar cane, forest residues or used cooking oils and have a negative carbon footprint (they capture CO2 during production, instead of emitting it). Traceability is certified by the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC).
Any type of foam is already, by itself, a sustainable material that leaves a much smaller (or even negative) carbon footprint than other materials, since it has a noticeably lower density.
This enables fewer raw materials to be used in production, helping to reduce both energy consumption and environmental impact.
