We are very happy to announce that, for the first time, we are attending Innotrans, the international reference fair for the railway sector, which will be held in Berlin between September 20th and 23rd, 2022.

At ZFoam, as experts in foams for the most demanding applications, we are ready to participate in any project in the railway sector thanks to our consolidated knowledge and wide experience, both in new projects and design modifications.
We take care of the entire management of the production process, from specialized engineering, selection and purchase of raw materials, to manufacturing and delivery in the form of easy-to-identify and assemble kits, as explained below.

At ZFoam we supply railway manufacturers with the final parts they need depending on the areas of the vehicle where they are going to be installed and the function they are going to perform, which we manufacture with the most advanced materials.
This is how we manage to provide thermal and acoustic insulation, anti-vibration, sealing joints and fire barriers, for low and high temperatures, capable of withstanding up to 1000ºC.
In addition to focusing on the durability and the strict guidelines of these pieces, we also think about facilitating the moment of their installation as much as possible, serving them in sequence and ordered by zones thanks to QR codes, which allow a fast and uncomplicated assembly.

Regarding materials:
- Multi-material partner with certifications according to EN 45545 (HL1 / HL2 / HL3)
- Environment: availability of recycled and recyclable materials, REACH compliance, free of CFCs, HCFCs and volatile compounds. Halogen free (HF) material options.
- Energy saving: foams with very low density and without water absorption that allow a high weight saving during the useful life of the vehicle.
- Durability: foams without water absorption and resistant to the growth of bacteria and mold that reduce long-term maintenance needs.
In product development:
We take care of the optimization of the use of materials (automatic nesting), as well as the development of applications and adhesives. At ZFoam we also have our own laboratory with capacity for mechanical tests, adhesives, as well as a climatic and combustion chamber, to offer you an optimal service.
