ZOTEK®N is a high-performance, closed-cell, cross-linked nylon foam based on polyamide 6, a unique material on the market because it combines all the benefits of nylon with the advantages of a foam, such as:
- High resistance to temperature (up to 205 degrees), hydrocarbons, alcohol and ketones
- Low weight and Buoyancy
- Great thermal and acoustic insulation capacity
- High durability and excellent performance
The use of the ZOTEK®N is focused on the following applications:
- High temperature insulation: battery covers, sealing gaskets, internal insulation in coffee machines, HVAC…
- Personal protection: padding for sportswear and protective equipment.
Transportation: transmission joints, engine covers, energy-absorbing composite panels… - We can also use for the manufacture of anti-vibration parts, protection against impacts, and in more general terms, in a wide variety of applications for sectors such as aeronautics, railways, home appliances line and automotive.
On the other hand, and thanks to its properties, ZOTEK®N foams can be transformed into an unlimited number of shapes using techniques such as routing, die cutting, water jet cutting or thermoforming, thus making it possible to adapt to the exact design required for each client and need. .
